Attempted game room robbery ends in shootout

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An attempted robbery at a game room in north Houston Saturday morning ended with a shootout between the suspects and a security guard.

According to officials at the scene, three suspects were trying to rob a game room on Airline at Berry around 11:15am when gunfire erupted.

The security guard's vehicle was riddled with bullet holes. One of the suspects was shot twice in leg. That person was taken into custody and transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital via ambulance.

No other injuries were reported.
