Job fair being held at Minute Paid Park for veterans

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A job fair is being held today, aimed at helping Houston veterans find work.

It will be held today from 11am to 3pm at Minute Maid Park on the Club Level (1st base side), 501 Crawford Street.

The US Chamber of Commerce is holding the one-stop hiring fair. It's set up with over 60 companies, including Walmart, to help over 600 veterans and their families find a job.

Parking is free in the Diamond Club Lot and Lot A. You can enter the parking area at Texas and Jackson Streets.
