Police chase ends in crash in SE Houston

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- SkyEye 13 HD was over the scene of a police chase that ended with a serious crash on Thursday morning.

Officers were trying to pull over the driver of a pickup truck for speeding. It turns out the pickup had just been stolen.

The driver lost control while exiting the Gulf Freeway. The truck rolled and threw the suspect from the vehicle. He was rushed to a hospital and is expected to recover, but he now faces a long list of charges.

No one else was hurt.
