A man follows the thieves who took his SUV until a deputy joined the chase.
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A couple of suspected car thieves led police on a chase and crashed last night in north Houston.
The pursuit came to an end on the North Freeway near West Mount Houston. That's where the suspect hit a curb and flipped the vehicle several times.
Investigators say the vehicle's owner caught the suspect stealing the SUV, so he chased him in another vehicle. Along the way, the owner waved down a deputy who picked up the chase.
The driver of the stolen vehicle and the passenger were not hurt in the crash. Both were arrested.
