HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One man is in custody after a leading police on a chase in southwest Houston.
Houston police say officers began pursuing a black Chevy pickup truck in the 2000 block of W. Main St. shortly after 2pm Tuesday. Police say the man was being pulled over for a possible narcotics transaction in the Montrose area when he refused to stop and made his way to the Southwest Freeway where he reached speeds of 100mph.
The suspect went through several side streets until he eventually pulled over at Westheimer and Potomac about 10 minutes later.
He was arrested on the scene.
