Ice at Discovery Green opens today

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Lace up your skates and get ready for a memorable winter experience because the Ice at Discovery Green returns today!

This afternoon's grand opening features a holiday lighting ceremony, art cars, an ice sculpture, Radio Disney performers and the Houston Children's Choir.

The ice rink opens to the public at 4:15pm today.

Admission is $12 and includes skate rental.

Skating time is limited to 90 minutes.
