Woman arrested for allegedly hiding suspected child predator in her home

SPLENDORA, TX (KTRK) -- A Splendora woman was arrested over the weekend for allegedly hiding a suspected child predator in her home.

Precinct 4 constables say Kellie Allen had called 911 to report a disturbance. Neighbors told the constables that someone was hiding in the trailer behind her home.

Constables found her boyfriend Brian Manning hiding in the trailer's bathroom along with a child. Manning had a felony warrant out for sexual assault of a child.

Manning was arrested on several charges, and is being held on a $400,000 bond. Allen was released on a $3,000 bond.
