Arson suspected in three overnight trailer fires at east Montgomery County neighborhood

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's concern an arsonist is on the loose in East Montgomery County.

Three fires broke out in the County West subdivision early Wednesday morning, and detectives believe they were intentional.

The first one erupted around 1am. A resident told firefighters she found a fire on the front porch of her mobile home in the 14600 block of Country West Drive.

Thirty minutes later, a vacant mobile home next door was on fire.

As firefighters responded to the second fire, a third fire broke out at another empty trailer across the street.

Investigators believe the same person is responsible for all three fires.
