Alleged copper thief busted at metal recycling facility near downtown Houston.
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police near downtown Houston caught a copper thief when a burglar alarm went off at a metal recycling facility on Edwards near Sawyer.
Officers arrived and spotted a man on the roof of the business. He tried to run, but a police dog found him.
Police say he was trying to steal copper wiring from the business.
