Chase with suspected drunk driver begins in Galleria area

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A suspected drunk driver led police on a chase across the city this morning.

This all started in the Galleria area when officers tried to pull the suspect over. The suspect took off, got on the West Loop and eventually headed westbound on the Northwest Freeway. That's where he lost a wheel, stopped and was arrested.

He's facing felony evading and DWI charges.
