Toby Keith to cap off opening day at RodeoHouston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The first day of the 2013 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo kicks off today.

Gates open this morning for the livestock and horse show at Reliant arena. The Kids' Country petting zoo opened at 9am, and all the shops and restaurants open at 10am.

Toby Keith whose first big hit, 'I Should've Been a Cowboy,' kicks off the Houston Rodeo tonight at Reliant Stadium. This is his ninth appearance.
