Sunday night's Go Tejano performance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo featuring Julion Alvarez and Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon in concert set a new all-time paid rodeo attendance record with 75,305 fans.

The previous record was set just three days prior when Bruno Mars drew 75,177 fans last Thursday.

Go Tejano Day has been a popular HLSR tradition since the idea's inception in 1986. Four other spots in the top 20 all-time paid Rodeo performances are occupied by Go Tejano Day entertainment.

Those top Go Tejano performances include: No. 4, March 11, 2012 (La Original Banda El Limon and Deulo); No. 6, March 14, 2010 (Pesado and El Trono De Mexico); No. 7, March 15, 2009 (Ramon Ayala and Alacranes Musical); and No. 11, March 13, 2011 (La Arrolladorra Banda El Limon and La Leyenda).
