Shoe store robber caught on camera in Rosenberg

ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- The Rosenberg Police Department is investigating an aggravated robbery at a shoe store, and the suspect was caught on camera.

The robbery happened Sunday afternoon at the 3 for 25 Shoe Store in the 5100 block of Avenue H.

According to police, an armed black male entered the store and demanded cash. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Investigators said he was about 5 feet 8 inches and weighed about 180-200 pounds. He was wearing a burnt orange University of Texas hooded sweatshirt.

This is the second time this store has been robbed this year. The first robbery was exactly four months prior, on January 5. It's unclear whether both crimes were committed by the same person.
