HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Slick roads may have led to a deadly crash in northwest Houston last night.
It happened around 9pm on Whitney near Harvard.
Police said the driver of a pickup truck lost control on a curve, flipped over and crashed into a ditch. The driver was thrown from the vehicle, and the truck landed on top of him.
Police do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash. Officials said it might be linked to the weather because it had just finished raining and the roads were wet.
The driver of the truck has not been identified.
