1 dead, 2 injured in big rig crash on Eastex feeder

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One man was killed and two others were injured Monday after a truck towing heavy equipment crashed into an overpass along the Eastex Freeway near Tidwell.

It happened just before 1pm. Investigators said the truck was southbound on the feeder road when it ran off the roadway and slammed into a pylon.

There is no information on what may have caused the crash.
