Cross-dressing robber rips off check cashing store

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A cross-dressing robber is on the run, wanted for ripping off a check cashing store in northwest Houston.

Police say a man wearing a mask and women's clothing entered a store on Hammerly and Blalock Monday afternoon and pulled a gun on employees. He grabbed some cash and ran out the back door.

No one in the business was hurt. If you know anything about the robbery, you're asked to call police.
