Driver crashes while trying to flee deputies in northwest Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A suspected drunk driver crashed into a daycare business while trying to run from deputies in northwest Harris County.

Investigators say the driver was going at least 80 miles an hour on Louetta and Scenic Garden when he ran off the road and hit the building. No one was inside the daycare at the time of the crash.

Deputies pulled the driver out of the wreckage and arrested him. He's facing a list of charges including DUI and drug possession.
