Dwight Howard, Lakers fan trade barbs on Twitter

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's a viral Twitter battle going on involving new Rocket Dwight Howard.

The All-Star Center responded to a Tweet about leaving the Lakers this week, telling the fan, "Let it go. No need to dwell in the past."

The woman, named Brittni, responded with "You ain't never getting a ring."

Howard responded by referencing Brittni's avatar, saying, "With that face, I don't think you getting one either. LOL."

Then it was Brittni's turn to insult and she came back with "Got one, unlike your baby mothers."

Howard later said that he was just having fun.
