Vince Young: I'm ready to help the Texans

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Several voices are chiming in to offer their advice on how to help the struggling Texans, including none other than Vince Young.

The former Tennessee Titan quarterback and national champion at the University of Texas tweeted this message out yesterday, saying "Let them know VY is in shape and ready to go! I always loved my birth place and everyone who lives in it. I'm READY!'

Young, who played his high school football at Madison here in Houston, was released in the preseason by the Green Bay Packers and had also recently been with Philadelphia and Buffalo.
