Workers discover body in Beaumont city pool

BEAUMONT, TX -- Workers in a Southeast Texas city have discovered a body in a municipal pool.

The Beaumont Fire Department says the body was located in the water Friday morning.

KFDM-TV reports the pool fence had been cut and a refrigerator was also in the pool at Magnolia Park.

Beaumont police are investigating. Further details were not immediately released.
