Dallas man fatally shot after fist fight

DALLAS, TX -- Police say a Dallas man has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man after an apparent fist fight.

Dallas Police say 23-year-old Kenneth Collins shot Tommie Stevenson after a dispute over some kind of transaction escalated to a fist fight and then the shooting Friday night.

Stevenson was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. After a search of the area, police found Collins with the help of witness descriptions.

Collins was being held Saturday in the jail.
