LEANDER, TX -- A Central Texas high school football player is facing charges after being accused by authorities of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old boy.
The Austin American-Statesman reports Gregory Raymond Kelley was charged Monday with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
The 18-year-old Kelley is free on a $50,000 bond. He is a senior at a high school in the town of Leander, located about 25 miles northwest of Austin.
Court records did not list an attorney for Kelley.
According to an arrest warrant, the 4-year-old boy told authorities that Kelley had inappropriate contact with him on two occasions at an in-home daycare in the nearby town of Cedar Park.
Authorities say Kelley, an all-district football player, lived in the home between December 2012 and June 2013.
