A West Texas man has been indicted over the shooting deaths of his estranged wife and her brother in an attack that left his sister-in-law wounded.

The San Angelo Standard-Times reports Brian Berry's mother faces allegations of helping him flee after the July 28 shootings at his wife's home in Wall.

Tom Green County jail records show Berry was being held Friday on charges of capital murder of multiple persons and attempted murder. Bond was $1.5 million for Berry, who was arrested in Andrews just hours after the bodies of Keri Berry and Brandon Block of San Angelo were found. Block's wife was critically hurt.

Berry was indicted Wednesday. His mother, 69-year-old Anita Berry, was indicted Sept. 4 on a charge of hindering apprehension. She's free on $10,000 bail.
