Space Shuttle: The Final Flight

Thursday, July 07, 2011

Space Shuttle Atlantis will make history as it begins NASA's final space shuttle mission.

Four astronauts are set to blast off from the Kennedy Space Center tomorrow at 10:26am Houston time, and we've got complete coverage of the launch. Dave Ward, Ted Oberg and Tom Abrahams are reporting from Cape Canaveral, while Kevin Quinn reports from the Johnson Space Center.

On Wednesday night, we aired a special on the final mission, from past triumphs to past tragedies and what happens now that the shuttle program is ending.

To watch it, click on the segments 1 through 4 in the video window above. And stay with ABC13 and abc13.com for the very latest on the end of an era at NASA.
