HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If you noticed some big changes to your Facebook News Feed, you're not alone. Overnight, the social networking site rolled out its latest set of changes -- this time to the way its news feed looks and feels.
In your News Feed, Facebook has combined the Top News and Most Recent stories into one single feed. So if you click on Home, you'll see top stories and will have to scroll down to see the most recent stories.
Facebook says it will now display status updates based on your visiting habits. In other words, profiles you interact with the most or have a lot of activity from others will now always appear at the top of the page.
According to the Facebook Help Center, "If you haven't visited Facebook for a while, the first things you'll see are top photos and status updates posted while you've been away. They 're marked with an easy-to-spot blue corner. If you check Facebook more frequently, you'll see the most recent stories first."
Facebook also says photos will appear larger in the News Feed.
Another big change is the Ticker on the right-hand side which allows you to see real-time activity of your friends and pages you like. The Ticker automatically updates itself. When you hover your cursor over a ticker item, the whole story will appear for you to interact.
