Neighborhood organizations and community groups are hosting parties and area activities to celebrate National Night Out tonight.
National Night Out brings together citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses and neighborhood organizations to:
HARRIS COUNTY:
Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia will make his rounds Tuesday evening, visiting various neighborhood National Night Out events throughout the county. He schedule is as follows:
KATY:
The Katy Police Department is hosting an event Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. until dark at the Katy City Park. Activities will include a tour of a LifeFlight helicopter, face painting, moonwalks and a chance to take photos and get autographs from two Houston Texans cheerleaders.
TOMBALL:
The Tomball Police Department, Tomball Fire Department, Northwest EMS, Tomball Public Works and Target Representatives will be visiting 10 neighborhoods inside the City Limits of Tomball beginning at 7pm until 9pm to network and support the citizens in their quest for a safe community.
City of Conroe Police Department will hold a big event at Candy Cane Park -- Next to I-45 between Callahan Ave. and Semands Ave.
ROSENBERG:
The Rosenberg Police Department is currently preparing for this year's Annual National Night Out Event. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. It is free and open to all citizens.
Target® is participating in the fun and will host the event at their Rosenberg location, 23912 Commercial Dr, in Brazos Town Center in Rosenberg. There will be moonwalks, cotton candy and most importantly parents will receive lots of safety information to help their families stay safe.
MISSOURI CITY:
Missouri City's Fire and Police personnel traditionally begin National Night Out with a kick-off community gathering from 5:30 to 7 p.m. This year it will be held at the Target store parking lot located at Highway 6 and FM 1092/Murphy Road.
