HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston is on the list as the top green city when it come to renewable energy.
Yesterday, the Environmental Protection Agency announced the city of Houston is the nation's #1 municipal purchaser of green power.
The city buys more than 350 million kilowatt-hours of green power per year and expects that number to double each year.
