EB lanes of Highway 290 at Hegar shut down due to wreck

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's a big traffic alert to let you know about this morning. Highway 290 eastbound is closed down due to a heavy truck accident.

The accident happened on the Northwest Freeway at Hegar after 6:30am.

Emergency crews are on the scene. There is no word of any injuries.
