THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED FOR PARTICIPATION ONLY IN THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (“TERRITORY”) AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED ACCORDING TO, AND GOVERNED EXCLUSIVELY BY, UNITED STATES LAW. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE SWEEPSTAKES IF YOU ARE NOT A LEGAL RESIDENT OF AND PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN THE TERRITORY AT THE TIME OF ENTRY OR YOU OTHERWISE DO NOT FALL WITHIN THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH IN THE OFFICIAL RULES BELOW.

ELIGIBILITY:
Entrants must be legal residents of and currently physically residing in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and have reached the legal age of majority in their state of legal residence at time of entry.
Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, independent beauty consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six (6) months, performed or currently perform services for Sponsor, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and/or any of their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies or advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings and spouses, regardless of where they reside. "Household members" shall mean people (whether or not related) who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year.
HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins at or about 12:00:01 a.m. on 7/13/07 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. on 9/30/07 (“Promotion Period”). For purposes of these Official Rules (“Rules”), all times and days are Pacific Time. Sponsor’s clock is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
To enter, during the Promotion Period go to www.beautyofcountry.com, www.7online.com, www.abc7chicago.com, www.abc11tv.com, www.abc7.com, www.myabc30.com, www.abc13.com, or www.6abc.com and complete and submit the Internet Official Entry Form in its entirety, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number (with area code), date of birth, and email address (“Entry”). All Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. on 9/30/07, when Sweepstakes ends. Repetitive automated electronic submission of Entries is specifically prohibited and such Entries are void.
Limit one Entry per person or email address per calendar day (regardless of whether one person has more than one email address or more than one person use the same email address). In the event of a dispute regarding Entry received from multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant, not the name on the entry form. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the email address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses.
Once submitted, all Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.
If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, acts of God or civil disturbance or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes or render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the Sweepstakes as originally planned, The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Sweepstakes. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select potential winners from among all non-suspect, eligible Entries received up to time of such action.
Sponsor, Mary Kay, Inc., the Country Music Associaition, Inc. and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, or illegible Entries, any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of Entries or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer systems, servers, or internet providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or Entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or for any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether technical, computer, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, or any combination thereof, including without limitation, errors or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, processing of Entries, announcement of the prize, or in any Sweepstakes related materials. Released Parties are not responsible for any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Sweepstakes. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Sweepstakes, entry process, or website or who are in violation of these Rules, as solely determined by the Released Parties, will be disqualified and his/her Entries voided.
Entrants must provide a valid mailing address and email address. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the Sponsor in writing during the Promotion Period if the entrant changes his/her mail address or email address. To do so, email abcpromotion@abc.com during the Promotion Period with subject “Address Change/Mary Kay.”
PRIZE(S):
One (1) Grand Prize: a four (4) day /three (3) night trip for winner and one (1) adult guest to attend the 2007 CMA Awards(SM) ceremony in Nashville, TN (“Event”) on Wednesday November 7, 2007 (collectively, “Trip”), consisting of the following elements: [1]: two (2) tickets to the Event; [2] roundtrip coach class air transportation for two (2) from a Sponsor-selected major U.S. gateway airport near winner’s home to Nashville; [3] three (3) nights hotel accommodations in Nashville (one (1) standard room, double occupancy, room and tax only); [4] airport/hotel transfers in Nashville; [5] one (1) spa treatment each for winner and guest; [6] one (1) makeover by a Mary Kay stylist for winner only; and [7] one (1) Mary Kay makeup kit as used by a Mary Kay makeup artist backstage at the 2007 CMA® Music Awards ceremony. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize: $5,799.00. Final actual value of Grand Prize at time of booking and travel may be substantially higher or lower depending on point of origin and ticket availability.
Travel must occur with departure Monday, 11/5/07 and return Thursday, 11/8/07. If potential Grand Prize winner (“Grand Prize Winner”) is unable to travel on these dates, prize will be forfeited in full and Released Parties will have no further obligation to such potential Grand Prize Winner. All travel and accommodations arrangements must be made by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Grand Prize Winner and guests are responsible for obtaining all documentation and insurance required for travel, and must travel together on the same itinerary using all elements of the prize package simultaneously or prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
All costs, expenses and incidentals associated with the acceptance and use of the prize not specifically listed herein as being awarded are the sole responsibility of Grand Prize Winner (including but not limited to: round-trip transportation between Grand Prize Winner’s residence and airport, phone calls, fax, laundry, incidentals, gratuities, additional room charges including mini-bar, meals, beverages, parking, taxes, and all other costs not otherwise mentioned herein). Some restrictions may apply.
One Hundred (100) First Prizes: one (1) set of Mary Kay® products (ARV: $275 each). Total ARV of all First Prizes: $27,500.00.
Total ARV of all Prizes: $33,299.00. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible Entries received. Limit one (1) prize per person/address.
Prize award subject to verification and compliance with these Rules. Any federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of the Grand Prize. Each prize is awarded “as is” with no warrant or guarantee, either express or implied. Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or otherwise substituted by any winner in whole or in part. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Event portion of prize is subject to availability. Sponsor is not responsible for cancellation, or preemption of Event, or for other circumstances that make it impractical or impossible to fulfill this element of the prize. If it becomes impractical or impossible to fulfill the Event element, no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof, however, remainder of Grand Prize package will be awarded.
V. HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED:
Potential winners will be selected at random on or about 10/2/07 from among all eligible Entries received. Drawing will be conducted by Sponsor. By participating, entrants agree to be bound to these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
Potential Grand Prize Winner will be notified by phone and/or e-mail (in Sponsor’s discretion) on or about 10/5/07. Eligible First Prize winners will be notified by mail with a congratulations letter and delivery of their prize by approximately November 15, 2007.
To claim Grand Prize: (a) Potential Grand Prize Winner must provide proof of age, identity and residency satisfactory to Released Parties; (b) Potential Grand Prize Winner must execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/compliance with Rules, a Liability Release and Indemnification, and (unless prohibited by law) a Publicity Release within five (5) business days of the date printed on the prize notification, and (c) Potential Grand Prize Winner’s intended adult guest, if any, must execute and return a Publicity/Liability Release and Indemnification, all within the same five (5) business day period.
Potential Grand Prize Winner and guest must provide such proof and execute these Releases prior to the release of any portion of the Grand Prize. In the event of noncompliance with any of the above requirements, with these Rules and/or Sweepstakes procedures, or if prize or prize notification letter or email is returned as undeliverable, the potential Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified and, at Released Parties’ sole discretion, an alternate potential Grand Prize Winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible Entries, assuming sufficient time remains to verify an alternate potential Grand Prize Winner prior to the Trip.

VI. RELEASES:
By participating in this Sweepstakes and/or accepting the prize, each entrant agrees: (i) to release the Released Parties from any and all alleged and/or actual actions, claims, injury, loss, liability, and damages of any kind whatsoever existing now or arising in the future (including, without limitation, bodily injury, personal injury, death, disability and property damage), costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, settlement and disbursements) arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in this Sweepstakes, participation in any Sweepstakes-related activities, and/or acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize (including travel or activity related thereto); and (ii) to the use (and agree to confirm such in writing) by the Released Parties’ of entrant’sname, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence in programming, advertising or promotional materials (including on a Winners List), in any and all media now or hereafter discovered (including without limitation the World Wide Web), worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. Released Parties are not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit, adapt and distort such information or materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without further notification, review, permission, obligation or compensation.
