As a reporter, Dr. Adlersberg has been nominated for an Emmy Award for his special report, "AIDS Update." Other notable stories include the series, "Are Your Pills Making You Sick?" "Rebuilding Your Brain" and "Yes, You Can Do Something About Your Aches and Pains".
Dr. Adlersberg's training as a medical journalist has brought him in contact with the nation's leaders in clinical medicine and science. His professionalism and credibility have engendered the trust of his medical colleagues, who know that their information will be delivered accurately, and in a context that patients can understand. Channel 7 viewers feel the same way. In addition to his medial reporting post, Dr. Adlersberg is a Manhattan practitioner specializing in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is an assistant professor of medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, an attending physician at Lenox Hill Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center and The Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Adlersberg was voted one of the best doctors in New York by New York Magazine and the Castle Connelly Guide. He has moderated many panels designed to present advances in medicine, authored a host of peer-reviewed scientific papers, and is the recipient of research grants from the National Institutes of Health and the American Cancer Society.
