Garden of Dreams takes kids to perform at Radio City

Next Thursday night, dozens of city kids will get the opportunity that big Hollywood stars can only imagine as they'll be performing on stage at Radio City.

The theme of the show from the Garden of Dreams Foundation is "Dream Big", and some big names are working with the kids to make sure their big night is a big success.

Kids like Isaac Russell, the 17-year-old originally wanted to focus on writing songs for his rock band, until his brother urged him to branch out.

"I always wrote songs about love and everything and then he decided to help me out and I started rapping with the guitar and I got into it," he said.

So did Daivon "Earthquake" Cole, his grandfather, pushed him to pursue his dream.

Like past years, the talent show will showcase more than 200 performers.
