Trucks crash on the New York State Thruway

8 of 8: Two tractor-trailer accidents caused big problems on the New York State Thruway early Monday. The southbound side of I-87 at exit 17 was closed early this morning after a tandem truck hauling milk cartons overturned. Then a McDonald's truck ran off the road to avoid hitting the first truck, and went down an embankment. The southbound highway was closed for about six hours. One driver suffered minor injuries.
