7 of 16: He was affectionately known as "Marky Mark" as part of the musical group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch in the 1990s, but since his musical career fell flat, Mark Wahlberg's acting career has soared. Wahlberg was also one of the original members of the popular boy band New Kids on the Block. After his musical career ended, Wahlberg made a big comeback as Dirk Diggler in the 1997 film "Boogie Nights." But his biggest accomplishment has been as executive producer of the hit show "Entourage," which is loosely based on Wahlberg's life growing up in Queens, N.Y. and transition into Hollywood life and stardom.
