Porn actors charged in rooftop burglary

PHILADELPHIA (WABC) -- Twin brothers who have appeared in hardcore gay porn videos are charged in a South Philadelphia rooftop burglary and are suspected in dozens of similar crimes in at least three state.

Authorities say 25-year-olds Keyontyli and Taleon Goffney, of Pennsauken, New Jersey, were arrested last week after authorities said they watched the twins break into a beauty shop and the adjacent fast-food joint using a handsaw and an ax to gain entry through the roof.

From there, police say, Taleon Goffney used his training in gymnastics and martial arts to complete their heists.

"Once he hacks through the roof, he lowers himself to the floor to rip off the ATM machine," Captain John Gallagher said.

The twins are the targets of an investigation in more than 40 rooftop breakins committed over the last 18 months, but police are just learning of their gay porn side jobs. Their reputation as criminals has grown faster than their rep as actors.

Police say Taleon Goffney swam across a deep pond while handcuffed two years ago as he made a daring escape from the back of a moving patrol car after being busted for crack-cocaine and gun possession. Police say officers were injured in their futile effort to recapture him.

Keyontyli, arrested at the scene of the Philadelphia burglary, was released after posting bail. Taleon, arrested a short time later, was being held in a Philadelphia jail.

The brothers face charges of burglary, trespassing, theft and related counts. A preliminary hearing is expected next month, authorities said.

Taleon reportedly has a lengthy criminal history, including charges for rooftop burglaries in Alabama and Florida, and previous arrests in Philadelphia as well as Camden and Salem counties in New Jersey, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

There are no records of any felony convictions for Keyontyli in Philadelphia or his native New Jersey.

The brothers have appeared in online gay porn videos under the names Teyon and Keyon, said Erik Schut of Philadelphia-based video retailer TLA Entertainment Group, which sells gay porn DVDs online.

He said they could have had a good career if they hadn't gotten in trouble.

"They are incredibly good-looking, and being identical twins, it's a novelty," Schut said.

Keyontyli has appeared in gay porn since at least 2002 and worked as a fashion model, while Taleon got involved in porn more recently.
