(New York-WABC, May 3, 2006) (WABC) -- According to the Department of Education, a third grade student is under arrest and charged with inappropriately groping a female worker in the cafeteria of a Brooklyn school.
The boy was arrested around 9:30 a.m. following a police investigation into the incident -- which happened Monday at P.S. 116 in Bushwick, department officials tell Eyewitness News.
The exact nature of the incident is not known, neither is the age of the boy under arrest. But the department confirms two officers took him into custody at the school today.
The child also has been suspended, officials say.
