(Los Angeles-WABC, July 28, 2006) -- Police in Los Angeles arrested oscar-winner Mel Gibson on suspicion of drunk-driving.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's department reports pulling the movie star early this morning in Malibu.
Gibson was booked, and then later released from custody. He posted $5,000 bail.
This is Gibson's first DUI arrest since he started attending Alcoholic's Anonymous meetings in the early 1990s.
