NEW YORK (WABC) -- According to "Scandal's" creator and writer, this season will be better than ever with a new plot twist and giant secret exposed.
"We need to talk about how to fix this. We need to make plan," said Kerry Washington's character "Olivia Pope".
The plan is simple, to keep the show's momentum going.
"Episode one was filled with so much, so much story and it really answered a lot of questions that people had from the end of last year," said Scott Foley, actor.
But for every question answered another was raised.
"Yeah, the next episode is going to be a lot darker than the first one. We're going to see some flashback stuff with Huck and Olivia. We're going to get kind of a deeper glimpse into Olivia's relationship with her father," said Guillermo Diaz, actor.
"The White House will destroy you. That's what mom used to tell me about you," said a clip from the show.
Viewers can expect the show to move along even quicker than it did last season.
"I'm very excited and interested to see how Twitter is going to react to that. (What do you expect the response will be?) A lot of OMG's and curse words and hash tags and a lot of shock," said Katie Lowes, actress.
Much of the shock involves the forbidden love between a president and his former aide.
"The love story between Olivia and Fitz is really not over and can't ever be over," said Shonda Rhimes, "Scandal" creator.
Creator Shonda Rimes is promising a "giant secret" to come involving the characters played by Tony Goldwyn and Kerry Washington.
"I think the show is about everyone who's ever loved anyone and felt like they couldn't love that person," said Kerry Washington, actress.
