There are many different things that can motivate you to get a good workout among them is the voice that is coaching you along. A workout instructor's tone can help make all the difference.

Dana Slamp plays the harmonium during her Pure Yoga classes, which can make for a more engaging practice.

"I sing because it relaxes people," Slamp says.

Meanwhile, at Patricia Moreno's class at Equinox, there is plenty of cardio, and a constant back and forth of empowering phrases.

"I know my voice is a really big piece of the puzzle," Moreno says.

Moreno is conscientious of the tone, pitch and pace. Many of her clients say that her voice is very passionate, because she comes with love.

After any class where the instructor helps you feel good, you love yourself a little more, too. The feeling of love undoubtedly gets you to feel good about working out.
