MILWAUKEE (WABC) -- Even a skunk can show a little self-control when it wants a helping hand.
Middle school students in Milwaukee came very close to getting sprayed when they found a skunk with its head stuck in a plastic jar.
They tried to help, but after a few hours, they put a garbage can over the animal and called for a specialist from the Wisconsin Humane Society.
When the expert lifted the trash can, he found the skunk had freed itself from the jar.
It just ran off, without spraying.
