M&Ms to roll out birthday cake flavor in 2014

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Mars is reportedly getting ready to roll out a new M&Ms flavor to help you celebrate the day you were born.

Birthday cake M&Ms will debut in 2014, though the company has not yet revealed if the new addition will taste like chocolate, vanilla or something else.

Birthday cake M&Ms are set to come out next May.

It is not yet known whether the Birthday Cake bites will be a permanent addition or a limited edition flavor.
