(Queens - WABC, February 28, 2007) (WABC) -- Eyewitness News has learned that two young girls were struck by a hit-and-run driver in Queens on Wednesday.
The girls were walking home from school when they were hit by an unidentified car on 168th Place and 84th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens shortly after 5 p.m.
The driver of that car just kept on going and now police are searching for that person.
According to police, the girls -- ages 6 and 7 -- were transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital with a broken arm and leg injuries after being struck by the driver. They are listed in stable condition.
