Triple shooting at Brooklyn restarant

SUNSET PARK (WABC) -- Police tonight look for a gunman who opened fire in a crowded restaurant -- killing one man and wounding two others.

The shooter opened fire last night at a Brooklyn restaurant on Fifth Avenue in Sunset Park.

Eyewitness News reporter Stacey sager is there live with the latest.

Police are actually looking for a group of suspects who ran from the restaurant after last night's shooting. Authorities say it all began with some sort of dispute -- that dispute turned deadly.

"I came, I heard the shots..so when I got to the corner, that's when I heard...I seen the people running out," Sunset Park resident Robert Rivera said.

A 24-year-old from Brooklyn, Carlos Lazcano, was shot in the head and killed, as three mail suspects escaped on foot.

The people that live near the restaurant told Eyewitness News, they're frustrated by the many fights they see there each weekend.

"There's always fights and things like that going on...," said Eric Quinones, Sunset Park Resident.

They also tell us, waitresses often dance with the customers, and that the drinking does get out of control.

In addition to the man who was killed, two other men were injured.

Police say a 24-year-old man was shot in the arm, and a 32-year-old man was hit in the torso.

Both of them are in stable condition at Lutheran Hospital.
