BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Police have arrested a Connecticut man who they say followed three children into public bathrooms and sexually assaulted them in two different parks in Brooklyn.
Authorities say the first attack happened Thursday afternoon inside Gravesend Park. Polices believe 61-year-old Michael Martin, of Stamford, followed an 8-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy into the public restroom and sexually assaulted both of them.
Then, just two hours later, Martin is said to have attacked another 8-year-old girl inside a bathroom at a playground in the Kensington section.
In both cases, the kids started to cry and the suspect took off.
The three victims were removed to area hospitals as a precaution and are in stable condition.Martin is charged with criminal sex act, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
