Elderly woman robbed at gunpoint

The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance in identifying the suspects wanted for a robbery in Brooklyn.

Police say the elderly female victim was approached by two men as she was entering her Neptune Avenue apartment around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspects reportedly forced their way into the apartment, where the tied up the 73-year-old woman at gunpoint before taking her ATM card, pin number and assorted jewelry. The suspects then fled the location.

The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6-feet tall. The second is said to be a Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-10.

The victim has been identified as Shirley Rosenstock. The surveillance video was taken from a bodega located at 31-65 Coney Island Avenue, where the suspects used the woman's ATM card.

Anyone with information on the above incident is asked to call the NYPD's CrimeStoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
