Sketch, video released in Queens attacks

QUEENS - (WABC) -- The attacker strikes at bus stops, most recently on Sutphin Avenue.

Posing a dangerous threat to women in Queens, police have released a sketch and surveillance video of the suspect wanted in five sexual assaults.

In the video, even though you can't see his face, police want people to take a close look at his walk and his mannerisms.

The latest attack came Monday when a woman was forced from a bus stop and sexually abused. Struggling with the suspect, she was able to break free.

Police said the suspect is thought to be in his late teens or early twenties. In the last two attacks, he was wearing the hat and a hoodie. He was also seen wearing black Nike Air Force One sneakers.

An 18-year-old woman this past weekend was followed home from a Q85 bus stop in Laurelton and groped while being restrained. Her screams alerted a neighbor who frightened the attacker away.

Another woman was viciously attacked and raped in a backyard near Southgate Avenue on July 10th. Two other attacks occurred on July 8 and 9.
