Third teenager arrested in cabbie shooting

FORT GREENE (WABC) -- The final suspect in the shooting of a veteran taxi cab driver turned herself in this morning to face attempted murder charges.

18-year-old Ivana Pittman surrendered to detectives at the 79th Precinct at 7:30 a.m. this morning.

She will be arraigned tomorrow on attempted murder charges, according to her attorney.

Pittman is the third young woman to be charged in the Aug. 7 shooting of 62-year-old cabbie Enois Malbranche in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

The other two young women in the cab, 19-year-old April Pierce and 20-year-old Erica Belgrave were also charged with attempted murder, robbery and criminal use of a firearm.

Both are being held on $50,000 bail.

The taxi driver was hit in the face and left blind in his right eye.

He is recovering at home and unsure if he can continue working.
