Elderly woman found dead in Brooklyn

CROWN HEIGHTS (WABC) -- Police are investigating the murder of a 63-year-old woman found dead in her Brooklyn apartment.

Relatives of Katrina Anderen became concerned when they didn't hear from her. Later on they discovered her body at her home in Crown Heights.

Neighbors also said Anderen was an active and independent woman, adding they have no idea what might have happened.

The medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
