Police: Man fatally stabs his roommate

FLUSHING (WABC) -- A Flushing man fatally stabbed his roommate in a rage of terror, and then called 911 and calmly waited for police to arrive.

Police say the 47-year-old suspect and his roommate had a dispute inside their Sanford Avenue apartment building just before midnight. That's when the suspect fatally stabbed his 43-year-old roomate once in the torso.

After the killing, Eyewitness News is told the suspect calmly called 911 and waited for the police to arrive.

Authorities found the victim in the first floor lobby, outside their apartment, his lifeless body lying in a large pool of blood.
