Eyewitness NewsBRONX (WABC) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting inside a homeless shelter.
According to investigators, a man fatally shot a pregnant woman inside the shelter and then turned the gun on himself around 7:30 this morning.
The shelter is located at 849 Walton Avenue in the Concourse Village section.
Police said a frightened young child, believed to be the couple's son, fled the scene and ran into the street.
He was comforted by court officers working in the Bronx Criminal Courthouse across the street until police arrived.
