Deadly fire in Harlem

Fire has claimed a life in Harlem.

The flames raced through a brownstone on West 122nd Street near Lenox Avenue around 7:00 Wednesday night.

An 85-year-old man was killed by the fire.

Firefighters rescued another man and woman, both in their sixties. They were taken to the hospital.

The woman was listed in stable condition. The man was listed as critical.

No names were released.

Investigators said the fire started on the second floor of the building, but the cause has not been identified.
